Q: Where does the event start and end?
A: At the Picaroons Roundhouse. 912 Union Street, Fredericton, New Brunswick. 

Q: Is there a registration fee to participate in the Gravel Grind?
A: Yes, the fee to register is $70. Every registered rider gets a GG t-shirt and memento to cherish. They also get their name put into a draw for a chance to win some of our pretty sweet door prizes! Although fundraising is not necessary, if a rider fundraises $100 or more their name gets entered in the draw to win our large door prize. All proceeds go directly to Special Olympics NB!

Q: Can I make my own route?
A: Participants may make up their own route up to a maximum of 30k. Participants are asked to follow the established route for longer distances. Please check-in with us by 10:00am on the day of the event if you're making your own route. 

Q: If I can't make the May 31st pre-registration, can I still participate? 
A: For sure! The pre-registration is to help traffic move along faster on the day of the event; however, if you can't make it on May 31st, you can still register/sign in the morning of the event at the Picaroons Roundhouse to receive your swag. Participants who wait to register on-site on the day of the event will be charged $100 for registration. Please make sure you are at the Picaroons Roundhouse at least 30 minutes before your route takeoff! 

Q: Can I register for more than one person at once?
A: Yes, you can register for more than one person at once; however, you will only receive ONE tax receipt. If you require an individual tax receipt for each person, they must register themselves. 

Q: If it rains the day of the event, will it still happen?
A: Rain or shine, we'll be there! 

Q: What time do I have to be back at the Picaroons Roundhouse?
A: ​No later than 1:30pm. ​
